Yangon to Bangkok on Bangkok Airlines

Yangon to Bangkok on Bangkok Airlines

This is a transit to Seattle via Yangon.
First time taking Bangkok airlines which bills itself as a boutique airline.

Yangon airport is relatively new and modern.
It is however quite basic, compared to major airports in Asia.

Pp the alpacasso outside Yangon airport.

Colourful traditional umbrellas with wooden handles(not visible).
Would have loved to bring one of these home but it was too bulky.

Colourful paint job on the plane, in-line with their boutique idea.

This was curry chicken served on the short flight to BKK.
The food was actually really good and there were a lot of ingredients in the dish.
Much much better than many other airlines out there.
Wish we could earn alliance mileage with them though.

A listing of beaches found in the in-flight magazine.
Have to check some of these out!

Arrival at BKK transit.
BKK Suvarnabhumi airport terminal is simply huge.

I'll cover the next travel section, BKK to NRT in the next post!
